Against all odds, an injured Amber Riley (Mercedes) danced a paso doble that earned her an impressive score of 29/30 on Week 7 of Dancing With the Stars Season 17. With injured knees and hurting shoulders, Amber pushed through the pain to give a sharp, ferocious performance of the intense Spanish dance.

All that time, little did she know that there was a familiar face in the audience there to support her. So who was the surprise visitor? None other than Amber’s Glee co-star, Kevin McHale (Artie). Kev and his friend Justin stopped by to watch the October 28 performances, and spent some time hanging out with Amber after the show finished taping.

“AMBER!!!!!!!!! @MsAmberPRiley and @derekhough were unbelievable!!!!! #DWTS #TeamRoughley” Kevin tweeted during the show. Out of all Amber’s Glee co-stars, he’s proved to be the one who takes to Twitter to support her the most often.

The next day, Amber tweeted a cute photo of the two hanging out after the show. “Oh and thank you for coming and surprising me! So happy we got to hang out after! Such an amazing lil bro@druidDUDE,” she wrote.

He quickly replied, “@MsAmberPRiley so proud of u mama A :)” Aww, guys. Stop being so darn adorable!
