We're getting more hints at the upcoming Glee Season 5 Christmas episode, including that it's supposedly going to be some kind of "unaired" episode. And this latest news backs up that report, as one McKinley grad is returning for the episode. Time to start roasting chestnuts on an open fire.

It was big news during the summer when it was announced that five Glee mainstays would no longer be making regular appearances on the show. And that has proven true for several of the actors who were included in that bunch, like Dianna Agron (Quinn) and Heather Morris (Brittany). But another one mentioned as not returning much has actually been no stranger this season.

Indeed, the person we're referring to is Mark Salling (Puck), who just hinted at the fact that he will be appearing in Season 5, Episode 8, which is the Christmas episode. On November 6, Mark tweeted a photo of himself with Glee vocal contractor Tim Davis.

"Wednesday afternoon studio magic with @loudmouthmuch," Mark captions the cute pic of himself and Tim in the recording studio. And Tim responded to the pic with the message, "Proud of you, my friend." Aww!

So what exactly will Puck be doing in the episode? It's hard to say, as we don't yet know much about what this "unaired episode" entails. But if the episode is indeed a flashback to a previous year, then Mark needs to grab the clippers, since his hair clearly is not looking like Puck's did when Glee first started.

Also, we must point out that Mark is wearing camouflage shorts, which makes us wonder if this is somehow tied to the fact that his character decided to enlist in the Air Force when we last saw him in Season 5, Episode 3: "The Quarterback." Or maybe all of Mark's non-camo shorts just happened to be in the wash.

Puck has had some pretty memorable moments in Christmas episodes past, between dressing as Han Solo in Season 3 or singing "Hanukkah, Oh Hanukkah" with Jake (Jacob Artist) last season. But we're crossing our fingers that this year's just might top them all!
