Jonathan Groff (Jesse St. James) might not be on Glee anymore, but Lea Michele’s (Rachel) real life best friend is about to make his big return to TV in the sexy new HBO series, Looking.

The half-hour dramedy premieres on HBO Sunday, January 19, 2014, at 10:30 p.m. The show will follow the lives of three gay friends (as played by Jonathan and relative newcomers Russell Tovey and Frankie J. Alvarez) living in San Francisco. They’re looking for love. They’re looking for romance. They’re looking to have a bit of fun.

This first teaser trailer is 20 seconds long, and though we don’t actually get to hear Jonathan’s character speak, we get plenty of shots of him and the other fellows exploring the city and otherwise having a good time as they head out in search of romance.

Walking down the street. Sitting at a bar. Smiling coyly. Hanging out on the bus. Stealing a kiss in the shadows. All of the three men’s adventures are set to the upbeat music of The 2Bears's "Take a Look Around."

Looking has scored a prime HBO timeslot, right after Lena Dunham’s hit Girls at 10 p.m. So just in case you were wondering where we’ll be spending every single one of our Sunday nights come January...yeah, no need to question. We’ll be on our couch, munching popcorn — okay, maybe eating Cool Whip from a tub à la Hannah — and glued to HBO.

No seriously. Somebody pass the Cool Whip.
