It finally happened: Glee did a Miley Cyrus song. (Sorry, that one time Rachel (Lea Michele) sorta-sung “The Climb,” but ended up being too sick to finish doesn’t really count.)

During November 14’s Glee Season 5, Episode 5: “The End of Twerk,” the show will feature a full performance of the most popular Miley hit out there right now.

No, it’s not “Blurred Lines.” That one’s technically Robin Thicke. (But rest assured, Glee’s covering that pop culture trainwreck phenomenon of a performance during this episode, too.) We’re talking about Miley’s epic breakup song, “Wrecking Ball,” aka the song where Miley swings around naked on construction equipment.

Instead of Rachel taking the lead on this one, “New Rachel”, Marley (Melissa Benoist), performs the vocals. They’re pretty impressive, too. We could have sworn it was Miley singing at some points.

Sadly for Marley, this epic breakup ballad will signal the destruction of her love life. Her boyfriend Jake (Jacob Artist) cheated on her with cheerleader Bree (Erinn Westbrook), and it sounds like the beginning of the end for Jarley’s relationship. We’d say we were heartbroken, but to be honest, we’ve always sort of liked Marley better with good-natured football jock Ryder (Blake Jenner).

Before Ryder can give Marley’s heart a break (sorry to switch pop stars on you like that), our poor girl will have to experience the crushing blow of a relationship’s end.

And yes, she even rides a wrecking ball while singing her heart out — just like Miley...except Marley decided to do it fully clothed. For that we thank her, about a thousand times over. It’s just not sanitary.
