Twerk it girl, work it girl!
Glee’s doing Miley Cyrus this week — yep, Robin Thicke VMA performance and all — and it would be impossible for them to do a Miley episode without her newest signature move. No, not the weird tongue thing. Twerking!
But in Season 5, Episode 5, “The End of Twerk,” Will’s a little oblivious to it (as he can tend to be toward many trends that have surfaced since 1990) and in a new sneak peek video, Matthew Morrison and Becca Tobin (Kitty) lay out all the details of twerking at McKinley High for us.
“A bunch of us are singing this song, ‘Blurred Lines,’ and I’m dancing all wholesome, but I don’t see that the kids behind me are getting very raunchy,” Matt shared. And Kevin McHale (Artie) is totally a proponent for the “if you got, it flaunt it” school of thought on twerking… though Chord Overstreet (Sam Evans) doesn’t exactly agree.
Surprisingly enough, the best twerker on set? Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina Cohen-Chang) — at least, according to Becca. “Jenna is a great twerker, and in this episode she has to be bad as Tina, so she’s really struggling,” Becca revealed.
“You know when somebody says ‘twerk it?’ They don’t have to say that to Jenna.” Chord added. We never pictured Jenna as a champion twerker — we’ll have to see it to believe it!
You can watch “The End of Twerk” Thursday, November 14, at 9/8c on Fox.
