No sooner does this week’s episode of Glee end than do we begin itching for more scoop on what’s coming next. Luckily for us, E! Online’s Spoiler Chat totally has us covered.
Sounds like in Season 4, Episode 9: "Frenemies," we are “going to meet a character that is auditioning (very badly) for a Broadway show.” So now we’ve gotta ask: why are we going to be seeing a Broadway audition?
There are two distinct possibilities:
1. Rachel loses her role in Funny Girl and has to hit the old dusty audition trail again, or…
2. Santana’s decided to branch out from TV commercials and audition for Broadway. We think this is the most likely option, especially since we already know Santana will be performing a Broadway song in Episode 9 — Rachel’s famous Funny Girl tune, “Don’t Rain on My Parade.” Perhaps that’s her audition song?
First of all, we sincerely hope that Rachel doesn't lose her Funny Girl role. After all the heartbreak she's had to endure, this girl needs something good in her life. Taking that away from her just doesn't seem right. But we sort of love the idea of Santana auditioning for Broadway. Up until now, she's really only be auditioning for TV shows and commercials, but we all know that this lady has some serious vocal chops. Who's to say she wouldn't be a huge success on Broadway?
The episode doesn’t air until spring 2014, so we have plenty of time to speculate — and to wait for more spoilers to come down the figurative grapevine!
