What the... fox??! Oh yes. It happened. During Glee Season 5, Episode 7: “Puppet Master” — which aired on Thanksgiving night 2013 — all our favorites perfomed Ylvis’s viral hit “The Fox (What Does the Fox Say).” Animal costumes were be involved. So were midnight dance parties in the middle of the woods.

And did we mention puppets? Yeah, puppets. Each singer was be accompanied by a Muppet-ified version of their usual selves. The New Directions started off the song from the auditorium in Lima, but by verse two, we were transported over to New York City, where Rachel (Lea Michele) and the gang picked up on the vocals.

The NYC crew slays it (sadly, without the help of Demi Lovato (Dani), who appears elsewhere in the episode but misses the foxiest part, likely due to a scheduling conflict. This girl's schedule is packed crazy-tight). Thankfully, however, Adam Lambert (Starchild) doesn’t miss the number and he’s fantastic.

What do you think of Glee’s take on “The Fox”? Gotta have it, or make it stop? You had to have known this was coming. For a show that did both “Call Me Maybe” and “Gangam Style,” that ultra-weird viral hit fox video is really the next logical step.

That said, does anybody actually know what the fox says?
