Glee's stars have performed no shortage of Beyonce songs over the years, and so it's no surprise that they would jump at the chance to see the Queen Bey herself onstage. Plus, someone who used to appear on Glee was performing onstage with her!
Hannah Douglass — who has previously played a Cheerio on Glee and has been dating fellow Glee alum Grant Gustin (Sebastian) — is currently on tour with Beyonce as one of her backup dancers. So some of her Glee pals showed their support by attending Beyonce's concert at the Staples Center in L.A. on December 3.
Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Alex Newell (Unique), and Glee choreographer Brooke Lipton were all at the concert, and Brooke posted photos of herself with Kev and Jenna to prove it. "Rollin' with the homies," Brooke captions the shot seen above.
Meanwhile, Kevin tweeted a shout-out directly to Hannah herself:
What a guy! We love how Beyonce's connection to Glee's stars continues. As you may recall, Heather Morris (Brittany) started out as a backup dancer for Beyonce, and another former Cheerio, Brittany Parks, has danced for Beyonce, too.
And Alex couldn't have had a better time at the show. "She was stunning!!!" he tweets about Beyonce. "She is the Queen!!!"
Way to go, Hannah! And we love it when the Glee cast supports one another in their other endeavors. Clearly, everyone on the Glee cast is irreplaceable.
