Facing her first holiday season since her boyfriend Cory Monteith’s death, the 27-year-old actress says she’ll make it through by surrounding herself with family and friends. And there’s one friend (other than Kate Hudson, of course) who Lea is especially thankful for.
“I’ve got to give a shout out to Miss Amber Riley,” Lea said. “She’s the best. I love her so much. I’m so proud of her. She’s been there for me so much through everything. I’m so thankful this year for those friends and my family.”
Amber was recently crowned the winner of Dancing With the Stars 2013, and Lea immediately took to Twitter to congratulate her pal. When the interviewer asked about it more, Lea's answer was immediate. “Oh my god, I made a video. I posted it online,” she laughs. “Didn’t you see?” Well, technically, her co-star Chris Colfer (Kurt) posted it. But if Lea says the video — which, by the way, was charming, adorable and perfect — as her idea, that works for us. “I was at work, and I was like, Guys, we need to make a video! I’m so proud of her. She’s awesome.”
“All I know is that Glee is my home,” Lea told E! News. “They’re my family and it just made sense that we would all want to be back together so that we have each other for support and I love everyone there so, so much.”
