Start spreading the news! Glee's Season 5, Episode 11: "City of Angels" is shaping up to be one swinging episode, as the show just might be once again tackling a Frank Sinatra tune. But which one will might they choose?
Glee has previously covered plenty of classic tunes popularized by Ol' Blue Eyes, such as "The Lady Is a Tramp," "Somethin' Stupid," "The Way You Look Tonight," and "New York, New York." Now, it appears we're about to add one more to the list.
On December 16, Chord Overstreet (Sam) took to Instagram to post a photo of himself and Jacob Artist (Jake) dressed to the nines in white tuxes with black bow ties and pink flowers. So it turns out that Blaine (Darren Criss) isn't the only guy on this show who can rock a bow tie.
"Who invited the RATPACK to the party?! #franksinatra," Chord humorously captions the pic. Okay, so the Sinatra tag might just be because the guys happen to be dressed like the Rat Packer, but we're hoping it's because they'll indeed be singing one of his hits.
The more we're learning about this episode, the more excited we get. For example, we know that Pitch Perfect star Skylar Astin will appear in the episode, as will Kurt's (Chris Colfer) dad, Burt Hummel (Mike O'Malley).
Now, the only question is: Which Frank song would be performed? There are any number that would be great, including "My Way" or "Come Fly With Me." But as long as the guys will be decked out in that formal attire, we don't really care what they're singing.
Which Frank Sinatra song do you think they should perform?
