There doesn't appear to be much plot involving McKinley left on Glee, as the show is soon to start segueing to the Big Apple. But before we bid farewell to Lima, we'll be meeting a hot new guy who attends McKinley — and just might be a love interest for someone in New Directions.
According to E! Online, Glee will add a new character in Season 5, Episode 13: "New Directions," who is a member of the school's Christian club. "We'll be meeting a new cutie who just so happens to be a Christ Crusader," reveals the site.
E! Online speculates that this new religious hottie just might be a "new love interest for a certain Cheerio," a.k.a. Kitty (Becca Tobin). Uh-oh, Artie! However, we think this could be interesting, as this wouldn't be the first time a Cheerio has flirted with a Christ Crusader. Translation: Quinn (Dianna Agron) and Joe (Samuel Larsen), anyone?
We wonder how the new character will play into the episode's bigger plot points. We've learned that the episode will involve some kind of '80s-themed dance party as the McKinley grads continue to say goodbye to Schue (Matthew Morrison) and the glee club. And it's sounding more and more like we'll be getting a Quinn-Puck (Mark Salling) hookup, too.
Do you think that the new character will be a love interest for Kitty? Or do you think he might be somehow involved with Quinn?
