Could we be any more excited for Glee's upcoming homage to the Friends opening? We think not. It's a no-brainer that Glee's Rachel (Lea Michele) is going to be Friends' Rachel  but which of the Glee characters is her Ross?

We all know that the Glee characters will be there for you, when the rain starts to pour. And in Season 5, Episode 14: "New New York," the gang will really be channeling the characters from the beloved '90s sitcom while reenacting the splashing-in-the-fountain opening credits scene.

On February 4, Glee producer Brad Falchuk posts a photo (above) of the cast having fun with multi-colored umbrellas around a couch and fountain that are just like the ones from Friends. How you doin'?

Brad added another pic (at right) that shows a smiley Rachel posing with a concerned-looking Blaine (Darren Criss). Come to think of it, we wonder if the "we were on a break" method of defense would have worked for Blaine and Eli C.

We're not sure exactly why Rachel, Blaine, Sam (Chord Overstreet), Kurt (Chris Colfer), Artie (Kevin McHale), and Santana (Naya Rivera) are doing Friends, but it probably has something to do with the fact that Blaine, Artie, and Sam are all moving to NYC, where Friends took place.

And this has got to mean that we'll be hearing their rendition of the Friends theme song, right? That would be music to our ears, even if it hasn't been our day, our week, our month, or even our year.

Are you excited about Glee recreating the Friends opening?
