Chace — who appears in Season 5, Episode 12: "100" — provides hints to MTV News about what we can expect from Biff. "I play, like, her douchey boyfriend from, like, the Northeast, so it's more of a character," he reveals. "It was a good time. [I did], like, four or five scenes — we had a blast."
Chace said he couldn't resist when Ryan Murphy offered him the role — although Chace did have one stipulation. "It was great — it's funny, I know like 80 percent of the cast already," Chace says. "Ryan Murphy calls up and is like, 'Come on,' you know, and [my first question was] 'Do I have to sing?' I'm like, 'I'm not singing, I can't sing.' Anyway, I'm not singing." Sadness!
C'mon, Chace — don't be so hard on yourself. We're sure you could belt something out if you had to! Indeed, he then gives his best Eddie Vedder impression, and it's a must-hear. So check it out in the video above!
We're excited to meet Biff, but it's also interesting that he only appears in a handful of scenes. We're wondering if this means that he will be breaking up with Quinn during the episode, which would possibly open the door for Quinn to reignite things with Puck (Mark Salling), as people have been speculating. We suppose there are worse decisions to make than choosing between two hotties like Puck and Biff.
Are you looking forward to seeing Chace Crawford on Glee?
