We've heard that Glee's upcoming Season 5, Episode 15: "Bash," will involve gay bashing, with Kurt (Chris Colfer) winding up with cuts and bruising. Now, we're learning more about how the violent scene will go down.
According to sources, Glee has been filming a scene this week for the episode. The scene involves two guys getting out a truck in an alley and starting to beat someone up, the victim being apparently a character that we'll meet in that episode. Kurt is walking by when this happens and overhears one of the attackers use a gay slur.
At that point, Kurt reportedly runs into the alley, yelling and trying to push one of the guys off of the victim. The two guys then direct their ire at Kurt and proceed to hit and kick him. Yeesh. The victim then runs away, while one of the assailants hits Kurt in the head with some object. The two guys then get back into their truck and leave Kurt on the ground and in pain.
Sounds awful, right? Luckily, we've seen a photo of Kurt from a scene that takes place a day or two after the attack, so we're pretty sure that he'll be OK. And while this doesn't sound like a fun scene to watch, we won't deny that this is an important issue for Glee to tackle.
How do you feel about this scene?
