Oh, boy. We are not loving the hints we keep getting here, people. Indeed, we've been wondering for quite some time whether Santana (Naya Rivera) would be abruptly leaving Glee prior to Season 6, and that's looking more and more like the case. And yes, we're here for you if you need a hug.

Our suspicions were first raised when the show's switch to NYC was initially announced in January 2014. At the time, The Hollywood Reporter announced the list of people who would be appearing in the NYC episode, and Naya's name was oddly omitted from the list. At the time, we assumed it was perhaps an oversight.

Then, on February 5, Naya tweeted this message about co-star Heather Morris (Brittany):

Again, at the time, we assumed this just meant that Brittana is endgame. However, it now appears to be Naya's subtle way of saying goodbye, judging by that "end together" hashtag.

Finally, the exit rumor appeared to get solidified last week during Lea's interview with MTV News. "It's just myself, Kevin McHale, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Chord Overstreet in New York City," Lea said, adding that Amber Riley (Mercedes) would appear in a few episodes. As you can see, Naya's name is definitely not on Lea's list.

And so, the chances of Santana sticking around much longer on Glee appear bleak. Rumors are swirling that it's Naya's choice to leave and that Season 6 episodes are already starting to get written without Santana in them. Sigh.

Santana and her never-ending snark has been one of the keys to Glee's success, so it's hard to imagine her leaving, especially given all the other familiar faces that will be gone. Plus, we love hearing Naya's incredible voice— not to mention that we were hoping that future Glee episodes would be full of adorable Brittana moments. So we're kind of devastated. Long story short: Don't leave us, Auntie Snix!

Will you miss Santana on Glee? Or do you think her storylines have run their course?
