Glee does its best to make the world a better place by frequently tackling important social issues in its storylines. But the cast members are involved in making a difference in their everyday lives as well, as Lea Michele (Rachel) and Darren Criss (Blaine) prove with a new PSA.

Darren and Lea are among several TV stars who appear in a new promotional video for Big Brothers Big Sisters. The celebs provide information about the group in an effort to encourage people to become a mentor. Both Lea and Darren have participated in events for Big Brothers Big Sisters in the past.

"All it takes to make a difference is a child's future is a caring adult," says Modern Family star Sofia Vergara in the video.

Among the other celebs in the video are Matthew Morrison (Schue), Modern Family's Ed O'Neill, How I Met Your Mother's Alyson Hannigan, and That '70s Show's Wilmer Valderrama. And the three Gleestars aren't the only ones in the PSA with ties to Ryan Murphy, as the two stars of Ryan's now-canceled NBC sitcom The New Normal — Andrew Rannells and Justin Bartha — appear in the vid as well.

We think this is a great cause, and we're very proud of everyone in the PSA, not to mention anyone who volunteers to be a mentor.
