Sadly, we haven't seen much of Santana (Naya Rivera) and Brittany (Heather Morris) since Season 5, Episode 13: "New Directions," when the ladies were planning their vacation. However, we can all rest easy with the knowledge that the two are likely to end up together when the series is said and done!
Glee creator Ryan Murphy answered questions about the show on Twitter today, and one fan asked him to share hints about Santana and Brittany's future. "In my belief, they are endgame," Ryan replied. Talk about a bombshell!
When another fan was worried that the couple wouldn't be featured prominently in Season 6, Ryan was quick to correct the person. "How do you know what they're doing?" Ryan said. "Be optimistic. :)"
And when a third fan asked if there would be more Unholy Trinity moments in the future, Ryan simply responded, "Yes of course." Hooray!
We love that Ryan seems to be such an ardent Brittana fan. There haven't been a lot of Brittana moments in the past two seasons, but we're keeping our fingers crossed that this will all change by the time Season 6 rolls around.
Do you agree that Santana and Brittany are endgame? And are you hoping Brittany and Santana will be full-time characters in Season 6?
