Glee fans have long pined for a Disney song (or ten) to be performed on the show, but alas, Glee has yet to take a crack at them. However, Glee creator Ryan Murphy is now weighing in on whether the show will ever get tackle the Disney cannon.

With only one Glee season remaining, the show really ought to hurry if it plans to squeeze in some of our favorite Disney classics. Only one Disney tune, "Bella Notte" from Lady and the Tramp, has ever been performed on Glee.

During a Twitter Q&A session on April 15, a fan informed Ryan that Glee really needs to do some Disney songs. And Ryan's response was, "We want to do them to!"

So while it's promising to know that Ryan would like to cover them, it sounds like this comes down to copyright issues. And if Glee hasn't managed to work that out in the past five years, our hopes aren't very high for things getting resolved over the course of the next season. Still, we've got our fingers crossed that Disney songs will soon become part of Glee's world!

Do you want Glee to do Disney songs? And which ones would you want Glee to choose?
