We may have left McKinley High behind several weeks ago, but last Tuesday’s episode of Glee — Season 5, Episode 17: “Opening Night” saw the return of Sue (Jane Lynch) and Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) as they ventured to New York City to support Rachel (Lea Michele) in her Funny Girl debut.

To us, Glee has always been a show about an underdog group of high school (now college) students and the teachers often seemed superfluous, but from the moment Sue called Manhattan “an island that is shaped like a dong and smells like pee” we realized how much we missed her. And even though Schue wasn’t able to catch Rachel’s big performance, we were glad he was there to lend his encouragement and support.

During the April 22 ep we asked Viggle LIVE users how they felt about the return of the “grownups”, and the results weren’t quite what we had expected. Read on to see how the vote was split!

An overwhelming majority — some 86 percent of those who responded — were more than happy to see the McKinley principal and spanish teacher in the Big Apple because they were missed. By comparison, only 14 percent of voters admitted to never being very fond of Sue and Schue.
