We’re bummed that Season 5 of Glee will wrap up in less than a week as a result of the FOX dramedy’s slightly curtailed 20-episode order this season, but series co-creator Ryan Murphy already has us pumped for next fall’s sixth and final season. He says that installment will take place in an entirely new location and see the return of many familiar faces.

In fact, during a live Twitter Q&A last month Ryan called the show’s sixth and final season “epic” when a fan asked him to describe the upcoming batch of episodes in just one word.

During the same Twitter Q&A the show’s star Lea Michele (Rachel) was asked what Broadway star Rachel will be up to in Season 6, and, in a similar vein, her response has us all kinds of psyched. “Something veeeery exciting;),” the actress replied with a sly smiley face.

Lea’s Rachel seemingly achieved her dream when she was cast as Fanny Brice in the Broadway revival of Funny Girl, but in Season 5, Episode 18: “The Back-Up Plan”, Rach ditched Broadway for a day to fly to Los Angeles and read for a television pilot. The pilot was all wrong for Rachel and her Funny Girl bosses found out she lied about being sick so she could make it out to the West Coast. Surprisingly, they let Rachel keep her job, and in May 6th’s Episode 19, she worked hard to restore her image.

But even though that initial sci-fi TV pilot wasn’t a good fit for Ms. Berry, she did get a development deal from her visit out west, which leads us to believe Hollywood could be this shining star’s next stop. It certainly fits with the “exciting” thing Lea teased for her beloved character!

Do you think Rachel is Hollywood-bound for the “epic” sixth season? Tell us your own thoughts and theories below!

Glee Season 5 airs Tuesday nights on FOX at 8 p.m. ET.
