Glee’s fifth season may not come to an end until Tuesday, May 13, but we’re already looking for info on Season 6, which will be the show’s last season. We need all the details, and we need them now! But unfortunately, it sounds like our wait for Glee’s return will be a little bit longer than usual this time around.
Thanks to TVLine, we now have Fox’s Fall 2014 TV schedule, and it looks like Glee won’t be back until midseason — which could mean the sixth season will premiere as late as January. And while we still don’t know exactly how many episodes are in store for us as we say goodbye to Glee, it does sound like we can expect a shorter run, since we’ll be looking at a season that’s half as long as usual.
We already know the finale season is bringing a lot of casting shake-ups, a time jump, and maybe even a new locale. Lea Michele has also recently shared that it will be a “very exciting and different season,” and that we can expect to see big surprises for Rachel, Sam (Chord Overstreet), and Blaine (Darren Criss).
As hard as it is to say goodbye, all good things must come to an end, including Glee. The good news? Knowing Ryan Murphy, the show will go out with a major bang, and we have so much to look forward to in Season 6!
Are you bummed Glee isn’t coming back until midseason?
