Of Glee stars past and present, Lea Michele (Rachel) is, not surprisingly, the one who has had the most success with her album. Said album, Louder, charted in several countries following its highly-anticipated release back in March, and Lea has even announced plans to tour the record both this summer and next.

Still, while Lea may be the undisputed star of the FOX series as we head into its sixth and final season, she’s hardly the only one with a set of killer pipes and hopes for a solo music career. Matthew Morrison (Mr. Schuester) has released two albums, Naya Rivera (Santana) came out with the single, “Sorry,” last year, and Amber Riley (Mercedes) is putting the finishing touches on her own studio effort. Believe it or not, that’s only the tip of the Glee talent iceberg — we’re especially excited about this latest release from someone relatively new to the extended Glee family.

On June 3 Alex Newell (Unique) announced that his debut single, “Nobody to Love” was available for download on iTunes for just $1.29! He took to Instagram to share the exciting news, snapping a still from the iTunes store and writing, “Go check out Nobody to Love on iTunes!! Soo exciting!!! #happy.”

The track — which is actually a cover of Sigma’s No. 1 UK hit — is really upbeat and incredibly catchy. It’s the kind of song you’d love to blast and dance to in your bedroom, and trust us when we say that Alex’s vocals are totally on point.

But if you’d prefer to form your own opinion then listen to “Nobody to Love” below and tell us what you think!
