The Glee Powers That Be may have added five new McKinley High School students to the cast for the show’s sixth and final season, but that doesn’t mean our old favorites won’t be around. In fact, Chord Overstreet (Sam) confirmed to E! Online that he will be in all of the final season’s 13 episodes!

Chord — who chatted with E! at the premiere of The Expendables 3, where he was supporting his roommate, Glen Powell — revealed that production on Season 6 is set to begin in September. “I assume I will be in all of the episodes,” he said. Though he maintained that he didn’t know much else about what Glee’s final season has in store, Chord did reveal, “I know I am back in Ohio at the school.”

Could he be the new Glee Club teacher? We know the club was disbanded last season, but with renewed focus on McKinley we can’t imagine them not bringing it back. And who better to lead the newbies than Trouty Mouth himself?

“I know the writers are three to four episodes in right now and from what I’ve heard, it’s really fun stuff,” the actor dished.

Also definitely back in the mix for the FOX dramedy’s last season is Lea Michele (Rachel), Darren Criss (Blaine), and Jane Lynch (Sue). Back in June Lea talked about Season 6 and said, “I know what I will be doing, I know what Darren will be doing, I know what Chord will be doing and Jane.” Naya Rivera (Santana) is also expected to be back though since she’s being billed as a recurring guest star, we don’t expect to see her in every episode.

Are you happy that Chord/Sam will be back for every episode of Glee Season 6? Sound off below!
