Earlier this summer we told you that Harry Shum Jr. (Mike Chang) had joined the cast of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon II: The Green Destiny, the highly-anticipated sequel to 2000’s Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and while that flick is set to begin production in China and New Zealand in the coming weeks, we’ll be able to see Harry on the big screen even sooner in Revenge of the Green Dragons.

Executive produced by Martin Scorsese, Revenge of the Green Dragons won’t be released until this fall, but the first trailer for the movie was just hit the web and people are already getting psyched. Described as a true immigrant tale set against the vibrant backdrop of Flushing, N.Y. in the 1980s and 1990s, Revenge of the Green Dragons is based on a true story of Chinese immigrants who came to the United States and engaged in violence, drug smuggling, and human trafficking in an effort to achieve the American dream.

Harry appears in the movie alongside Ray Liotta, Justin Chon and others, and you can see him sparingly in the action-packed trailer below. On August 13 the Glee actor shared the trailer on Twitter, writing, “Scorsese. Lau. Deadly combo. Excited to share the NEW trailer for my next movie Revenge Of The Green Dragons.”

Like we said, the trailer is already getting a ton of buzz, and Harry’s Glee co-stars were some of the first to call attention to the awesome teaser and declare how proud they are of their friend. “SO happy that @HarryShumJr is KILLING it right now! check out the trailer for his new movie! proud of you harry!” Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina) gushed. She was followed by Kevin McHale (Artie), who noted the trailer looks “amazing.” “So damn excited for u!” he added. Last but not least, Dianna Agron (Quinn) declared that she was “so proud” of Harry.
