In case you hadn’t heard, Glee is ending its run next spring after an abbreviated final season, and once the show wraps, we wouldn’t be surprised if some of its stars opted to leave Los Angeles for other locales. Several cast members from the FOX dramedy got their start on Broadway, and even though Lea Michele (Rachel) has made it clear she’s settled in the City of Angels for the time being, it looks like her co-star Matthew Morrison (Mr. Schuester) has plans to at least be bi-coastal.

According to the New York Daily News, property records show that Matt recently purchased a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in New York City’s trendy Chelsea neighborhood for a cool $2.25 million. We’re happy to see that Matty is putting all those hard-earned Glee dollars to good use!

The 35-year-old actor, who got engaged to girlfriend Renee Puente over a year ago and is expected to tie the knot any day now, will soon call 540 West 28th street home. Although it’s unclear if Matt and Renee plan to relocate to the Big Apple permanently (as far as we know, Matt still has a home in Los Angeles), their new 1,245 square-foot pad sounds divine. The apartment has amazing views of the Hudson River and downtown skyline, as well as white oak floors, stained walnut cabinets, and top-of-the-line appliances.

What’s more? The building itself features a fitness center and a roof terrace with cabanas. Perfect for parties, no? Hey Matt, maybe we’ll stop over for a Glee series finale soiree in a few months!
