The Glee cast is one of many talents. Not only are the show’s stars fantastic performers, but many have branched out from TV in recent years, releasing solo albums and best-selling books. Now joining the list is none other than Jane Lynch (Sue). Read on for more details!

Per Deadline, Jane dished about her children’s book, set for a September 28 release, backstage at the Creative Arts Emmys. Her main character for the book, which addresses bullying, is named Marlene, The Queen of Mean, and she’ll be the not so nice girl telling the tale. As Jane explains, she went with a different perspective than most anti-bullying books because she and her co-authors were actually the ones who bullied people back in the day. Yikes!

Still, we’re glad the 47-year-old is doing what she can to put an end to bullying today, and it sounds like Glee even inspired her latest endeavor. According to Jane, the message of both her book and the FOX show is “You can be part of a group by being inclusive, being nice to people.” Preach, girl.

Speaking of Glee, Jane also shared what she’ll miss most about the show. “The No. 1 thing is driving through the gates of Paramount, I still get excited about that,” she says, adding, “aside from knowing that you have a job.” We feel you, Jane, but something tells us you won’t have trouble finding work once Glee officially ends in a few months!

Are you surprised that Jane is releasing a children’s book about bullying? Plan to buy it? Sound off below!
