A Warbler will be headed to Starling City this fall! Former Glee star Nolan Gerard Funk just shared the amazing news of his casting on The CW’s hit superhero series Arrow for Season 3 — which premieres on October 8. Who will he be playing? Read on to find out!

According to TVLine, Nolan will be guest starring as a character named Cooper Seldon, who just so happens to be Felicity Smoak’s (Emily Bett Rickards) hacker ex-boyfriend from her college days at MIT. There’s no word on whether or not Nolan’s guest spot will be in a flashback or in a present-day storyline, but that doesn’t mean we’re any less excited!

We’ll be introduced to Cooper in what may be the most anticipated episode of Arrow yet: a Felicity-centric episode titled “The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak.” We can just imagine how glued to the TV we’ll be during this sure-to-be-epic episode!

Nolan might be heading off to greener pastures, but let’s not forget his time on Glee as Hunter Clarington, leader of The Warblers during Season 4. Hunter was a major villain, best-known for throwing a slushie in Blaine Anderson’s (Darren Criss) face. Hopefully he’ll be a little nicer on Arrow — but all bets are off.
