Rachel (Lea Michele) may have been talented enough to land the lead in Broadway’s Funny Girl revival while still a student at NYADA, but apparently her quest to become a television star won’t go as well. In the Glee Season 5 finale, Rach left Broadway behind and jetted off to Los Angeles to film her pilot, but now it’s confirmed that Ms. Berry will be back in Lima for Season 6. So what went wrong?

FOX released a bevy of Season 6 info and per TVLine, Rachel will be Lima bound following her “humiliating failure as a TV actress." So what does a former Broadway baby do when she finds herself back in her hometown? In Rachel’s case she’ll be back at McKinley to “reinstate and lead” New Directions, which was disbanded last season after the club failed to win Nationals.

We’ve gotta say that going back to Lima is an interesting choice for Rachel since her dreams were once much bigger than that, but rumor has it that Kurt (Chris Colfer) will be joining his former New York roomie back at McKinley to help reboot the glee club. If that’s the case, we look forward to watching those two work together, especially since Sue (Jane Lynch), who has always hated New Directions (and Rachel and Kurt for that matter), will announce plans to banish all arts from McKinley.

Making matters even more interesting is the rumor that Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) is expected to become the head coach of Vocal Adrenaline, while Blaine (Darren Criss) will head back to his blazer-wearing buddies and lead The Warblers.

Are you surprised that Rachel’s TV pilot will seemingly fail? What do you think of all these new spoilers? Sound off below!

Glee Season 6 is expected to debut in 2015.
