It’s a difficult thing to be Unique in high school, and nobody knows that better than Glee Project finalist Alex Newell’s Glee character.

His name is Wade, but he only truly feels like himself when dressed up as his sassy and confident female alter ego, Unique. Life for Wade is tough at Carmel High School. Sure, he was just made the lead singer of Vocal Adrenaline, but that title comes with a lot of pressure and few people seem to understand.

Until Kurt and Mercedes come along, that is. The two New Directions seniors help give Wade the courage to go through with his Nationals performance as Unique. Instead of trying to bully or intimidate their rival, Kurtcedes shows nothing but support and respect. In fact, Wade is so impressed that he even suggests that Unique may transfer to McKinley next year.

Anyone else notice that he said that Unique may transfer, not Wade? Looks like there could be a new girl at McKinley next year.

We want to know what you think. Would you like to see Alex’s character transfer to McKinley and join the New Directions, or are you content with his two-episode guest stint ending as is?
