Amber Riley (Mercedes) graced the cover of Marie Claire’s May 2011 issue, and since she was in New York City to film the Glee Season 2 finale, she decided to pop by the mag’s Big Apple office.
The Marie Claire staff asked her a barrage of questions, and she — ever the sweetheart — obligingly responded. You can check out 10 interesting facts she revealed about herself over at the Marie Claire website, but there was one thing we wanted to share with you NOW.
Amber is currently working on her first solo album, which she hopes to release late next year. She’s writing all of her own material and is experimenting with many different types of music — including rock, R&B, and Adele-type stuff.
