Guys, we're Gleeking out all over the place, and not in a good way. Our favorite eating disorder-inducing Cheerio, Becca Tobin (Kitty), has recently signed with a new talent and management team, and we're slightly concerned that she's leaving Glee for bigger and better things. (Not that there's anything better than Glee, obviously.)
Deadline reports that Becca star has signed with Innovative Artists and Schumacher Management. Such a switch usually means that an actor is looking to make some changes in their career. Does this mean that Becca is thinking of leaving Glee?
Kitty Wilde has become somewhat of a fixture at McKinley High, but she isn't the most lovable and cuddly character, and we could definitely see her being written off the show. Then again, girlfriend hasn't exactly gotten a chance to redeem herself for all her catty (read: Kitty-catty) behavior, and we'd love to see a few more dimensions added to her character before she's auf'd from Glee!
Of course, it's possible that Becca is simply switching things up with her management because she's hoping to use her rising role on Glee as a means to get involved in the music of movie industry. Many of her fellow cast members have side-projects in the works (Lea Michele [Rachel] is currently recording an album!), and there's no doubt that this gal wants to advance her career. Sigh, who knows what's going on, but if Kitty leaves Glee we'll have no one to love-to-hate and hate-to-love!
By the way, Becca's managerial switcheroo comes hot on the heels of her Glee co-star, Chord Overstreet (Sam), parting ways with his management in favor of Troy Zien at 3 Arts Entertainment in Los Angeles, and we're more than a little panic-stricken that he'salso leaving Glee behind.
Clearly, there is a conspiracy afoot and someone needs a slushee thrown in their face.
