Buh-Bye Sunshine! Charice Will Not Return to Glee in Season 3

Bad news for fans of Charice: The popular singer won’t be reprising her role as Sunshine Corazon when Glee begins anew in the fall.

“It was a great experience,” she told Celebuzz (via The Inquisitr). “Especially when we did the season finale, because it was my birthday when we shot the finale episode. It was a great experience working with them — all the cast, the crew, everybody. I just miss them because they’re like family now.”

We guess it would be insensitive to note that Charice was barely in Season 2 to begin with. But given that she blew the house down when she did appear, there is probably many a Gleek disappointed by this bit of news. Are you one of them? Seems like Ryan Murphy is really cleaning house as he gears up for season 3.
