Casting Call! Season 3 Scoop on Glee's Mean Girls and Mercedes's Boyfriend

Glee isn’t just adding the winner of The Glee Project to McKinley High School next season. Ryan Murphy and his casting team are looking for a gaggle of new players, including a group of ‘mean girls.’

According to TVLine, Sugar is “affluent, self-confident, and a godawful singer,” in the mold of a Real Housewife, while Seila is “a modern-day Joan Jett, actually has her own pack of Blackhearts and the tats to go with ’em.”

The team is also looking for Bubba, a linebacker and Mercedes’s new boyfriend. There’s also room for a curmudgeonly geometry teacher who thinks that musical arts shouldn’t have a place in school.
