Voluntarily entering rehab for substance abuse is such a noble and mature act, but that much isolation could put a strain on any relationship — not to mention any strife caused by the addiction itself. That’s why we’re happy to report that co-star and girlfriend Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) seems fiercely committed to Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson) as he recovers.
According to E! Online, a source close to the show’s production reveals that Lea and Cory are "as strong as ever... There haven’t been any hints of trouble."
After Cory checked himself into rehab on Sunday night, Lea told People, "I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this. I am grateful and proud he made this decision."
She later tweeted her gratitude to fans, writing, "Thank you all so much for all your love, support, and encouragement. It's means the world to us."
And Cory’s other Glee co-stars seem to have nothing but admiration for Cory, tweeting messages of support and encouragement.
The path to sobriety is terribly difficult, so we’re glad to hear Cory is surrounded by so much love!
