Darren Criss (Blaine) might be done with Broadway — for now — but is this really the last we’ll see of him on the Great White Way?

Not if Broadway has anything to say about it!

Darren’s busy schedule on Glee will keep him away from the bright lights of NYC for a bit, but Broadway producers told The New York Times earlier this month they would love to have Darren back, if his schedule allows.

Now, pop star Nick Jonas will officially take over Darren’s role of J. Pierrepont Finch from January 24 - July 1. But after that, Nick’s contract is up — which means Darren technically COULD come back.

And now with Glee's summer concert tour officially cancelled, he just may be able to! Still, even if Darren misses Broadway this summer, it sounds like the door is open for him to return in the future.

How to Succeed Producer Craig Zadan told the New York Times, “We’d also definitely be up for finding another show for Darren, once he is not tied down to ‘Glee.’”

So is there more Broadway in Darren’s future? That sounds like a pretty safe bet.
