Tonight's episode of Glee Season 4, Episode 18: "Shooting Star" promises to be one of the most emotional of the season. Why? Because a school shooter threatens McKinley High, causing our favorite Gleeks to fear for their lives.

The episode is bound to be a tear-jerker (especially in wake of the recent shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary) and will take place entirely in Ohio — which means we won't be checking up on Rachel (Lea Michele) and the gang in NYC. Naturally, the entire New Directions crew will be affected by the traumatic events — especially Brittany (Heather Morris)!

TV Line reports that Brittany has a "near wordless scene" in the ladies room, which will be a major departure from her usual role as the show's comic relief. Sigh, looks like we'll have to break out our trusty tube of water-proof mascara and some comfort ice cream, because Brittany crying might be too much for us to handle.

But even more upsetting? According to TV Line, a major character's entire future on the show might be in jeopardy, and it looks like we won't find out whether or not this character is off the show for good until next week's all-new episode, "Sweet Dreams!"

We're assuming this means that a Gleek is targeted by the school shooter...any guesses as to who it could be?
