Darren Criss’ appearance changed noticeably when he chopped off his curly, California surfer hair in order to play Blaine Anderson on Glee.

But now, is Darren taking even more drastic measures with his latest hairstyle?

On May 23, Darren’s Glee co-star Chord Overstreet (Sam) tweeted this shocking photo, saying, “Look who cut his hair off @DarrenCriss”

What? NO. Say this isn’t actually happening!!

Luckily... it’s not. Glee isn’t filming any new episodes right now, so we know that this photo would have had to be taken during shooting for a previous episode. Since Darren recently went fake-bald and sported a mohawk for Blaine’s hilarious body swap with Puck (Mark Salling) in Season 3, Episode 20: “Props” just two episodes ago — we’re almost certain that’s where this photo is from.

That said, seeing at Darren in a bald cap is strangely fascinating. Maybe he should try on this new look for real, if only for a little bit. What do you think?
