With the brand new Britney Spears and Demi Lovato-fronted Season 2 just one month away from its big premiere, FOX’s The X Factor still has one very important task left on its hands — finding a new host!

Ever Steve Jones since got the boot back in January, we’ve heard plenty of names tossed around as to who might be up for the gig as replacement host. Gwen Stefani, Miley Cyrus, Khloe Kardashian, heck, even Glee’s own Darren Criss (Blaine)  was once rumored to have been offered the gig.

Now, there’s another Glee star who FOX is reportedly courting to come host their show: Kevin McHale (Artie).

TV Guide reveals that Kevin is currently “under consideration” for the gig. If he is selected, this wouldn’t be the first time Kev and new X Factor judge Demi Lovato have worked together recently. The duo co-hosted the 2012 Teen Choice Awards just last month.

If Kevin does have the time to balance both his Glee and X Factor gigs, how would you feel about seeing him on the show? One thing’s for sure: We know he’d always dress well for the occasion!
