You fans knew it, even when we were still in the dark. It was, in fact, Dave Karofsky (Max Adler) sending Kurt (Chris Colfer) a series of sweet Valentine’s Day messages from inside that giant gorilla suit during tonight’s Glee Season 3, Episode 13: “Heart.”
Kurt thought the messages were from his BF Blaine (Darren Criss). Little did he know that Dave was actually the guy behind the many cards and gifts!
Karofsky may have bullied Kurt in the past, but now that he’s getting more of a chance to come to terms with his sexuality, the guy seems to be trying very hard to make up for his past wrongs. Dave’s feelings for Kurt are certainly there. Unfortunately, Kurt just doesn’t feel the same way.
So while it was sweet to see Kurt let him down so gently, the scene still felt a bit awkward. How did you respond to the exchange? If you’re team Kurtofsky, let us know!
Immediately after the episode’s East Coast airing, Max Adler tweeted, “Aww shux. Karofsky is trending and Glee hasn't even hit the west coast yet! Wow. I am so flattered, and honored to be able to play this role.”
Max returns again next week for Glee Season 3, Episode 14: "On My Way" midseason finale. We’re anxiously waiting to see where the storyline takes them next!
