Have you ever heard of the “Dianna Agron Birthday Project”? Well, neither had Dianna Agron (Quinn) — until recently.

But when the Glee star did catch wind of what this grassroots fan movement, she immediately pledged her support, and posted a quirky YouTube video to share her thanks.

Started back in January, the “Dianna Agron Birthday Project” is a fan-led effort that seeks to raise money for The Trevor Project, a Glee-familiar organization dedicated to providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to gay and questioning youth.

The Trevor Project page started in Dianna’s name seeks to raise as much money as possible before the actress’s upcoming birthday on April 30. Now, Dianna herself has pledged to join in!

On March 15, Dianna posted a blog on her You, Me & Charlie website. “I can’t tell you how much I am flattered, and feel the need to send out a huge, “THANK YOU!!”” she wrote.

“It truly brightens my day knowing that you have already raised over a thousand dollars in honor of my Birthday and such a wonderful organization, The Trevor Project.”

In the short time since Dianna made her announcement, donations on the site have already increased to over $4,000. As if that’s not enough, Dianna continued wrote, “OH! ONE NOTE: I will match all donations made by my Birthday. Yeah? That sound good?”

April 30 is still over a month away. How much money do you think Dianna and Co will be able to raise before then?
