Grant Gustin and Darren Criss Pose Together On Set

We first presented this troubling theory back in November, but in light of Glee's upcoming Klaine drama ... we thought it deserved another look. See what you think:

We consider ourselves diehard Klaine fans — so what we’re about to propose quite honestly makes us tremble a bit at the thought.

There’s just something that hasn’t been sitting right with us ever since we first watched Glee Season 3, Episode 5, “The First Time”. What exactly happened after Kurt (Chris Colfer) left the bar?

We all saw Kurt and Blaine (Darren Criss) get into their big argument after Kurt lost it on his drunken BF for being too grabby (and something about Blaine dancing with another guy all night). As a result, Blaine got upset and just walk home. Cut to commercial break. When the show came back, it was a day later, and nothing eventful appeared to have happened in the meantime.

Oh… but what if it did? We never saw what happened after Kurt drove off. Blaine was drunk, and, let’s face it, kinda horny. And then there’s Sebastian (Grant Gustin): that hot new Warbler who has made no secret about how much he wants Blaine for himself. He was at the bar, too. Most likely, watching the whole lovers quarrel go down from a safe distance. So...

WHAT IF?

What if Sebastian followed Klaine outside, watched them argue, and was waiting in the shadows for Kurt to leave? Or what if Blaine was just so fed up with his BF that he decided to go back into the bar?

What if... Blaine and Sebastian hooked up.

One thing’s for sure: The next day, Blaine firmly asserts that Sebastian means absolutely nothing to him. Did he reach that conclusion after a long night of hard thought — or did Blaine make a huge mistake, wake up full of regret, and make a shame-driven vow never to mix with scheming Sebastian ever again?

Yes, we know Blaine told Rachel (Lea Michele) he was still a virgin at that point in the episode — but that’s exactly what Finn (Cory Monteith) told Rachel after losing it to Santana (Naya Rivera) back in Season 1!

And even if they didn’t go all the way, we can’t totally put it past our beloved Blaine to get misdirect his kisses (and affections) after one too many drinks. It wouldn’t be the first time.

What do YOU think? Are you buying this theory?
