It looks like Cory Monteith (Finn) might be making waves over on the Glee set and series creator Ryan Murphy is reaching his limits. According to Page Six, Cory has stepped forward on behalf of the whole cast to complain about how they're over-worked and underpaid.
This isn’t the first time Cory’s spoken out about alleged Glee injustices. He dished in a radio interview last year of the cast album, "I got 400 bucks from it going No. 1. But you know what, that’s OK, because if I’m patient, and if this thing does really well, maybe I’ll see another 400 bucks."
Yikes! And apparently, this year, the cast went straight from touring to filming with no breaks and are feeling like they're unfairly compensated for all they do. But Cory’s public griping has Ryan allegedly threatening to nix him from the Glee spin-off, as well as halt the production on an upcoming comedy flick Cory is set to star in.
Cory's rep commented, “For the record, [this] is completely fabricated, I would imagine the result of lingering rumors from last month but not based in truth whatsoever. Cory is back on set and very happy to be there.”
We're pretty sure the fan backlash from Cory getting fired would result in the Glee-pocalypse, so we're inclined to believe his rep and say that the story is probably getting blown out of proportion.
What do you think, Gleeks?
