If you’re a fan of Glee and are on Twitter, you’re going to want to listen up.

Ryan Murphy showrunner, co-creator, and all-around king of the Glee universe just joined Twitter. His @MrRPMurphy account isn’t verified yet, but star Lea Michele (Rachel) is already confirming it’s him.

Ryan’s first-ever tweet came at about 10:30 am on July 30. “My very first tweet to my beloved @msleamichele. Follow me for exclusive details on AMERICAN HORROR STORY, GLEE and THE NEW NORMAL.” he wrote.

Just minutes later Lea announced his Twitter arrival to her almost 2 million followers, writing, “Its official! My dear friend Ryan Murphy finally has a twitter! Follow him for all scoop on GLEE! @MrRPMurphy

Glee producers Brad Falchuk (@BFalchuk) Dante DiLorento (@GLEETV) occasionally tweet fun behind-the-scenes pictures of the cast on set. Anyone else hoping that Ryan might do the same?

(Update: Well, what do you know? Awesome.)
