Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) promised an “insane” scene coming up between Rachel’s current boyfriend, Brody (Dean Geyer), and her ex, Finn (Cory Monteith). And boy, she wasn’t kidding.

In Glee Season 4, Episode 16: “Feud,” Finn showed up out of the blue in New York City to confront Brody about his shady dealings. Santana (Naya Rivera) had done some major investigation and figured out that Brody is working as a gigolo to wealthy NYC cougars. But instead of taking him down herself, she gave Finn a call instead.

When Brody walked into the hotel room expecting to get it on, he instead found Santana waiting on the bed. Then, Finn silently stepped out from behind the shadows.

“After tonight, you’re a ghost. You disappear from her life forever,” he told Brody. “No goodbyes.” The message was clear. Stay away from Rachel, or you will pay.

Things got heated, and the two lunged at each other. Finn and Will (Matthew Morrison) might not have gotten into a physical fight, but Finn and Brody sure did.

But our favorite part of the entire scene is what Finn yelled at Brody before storming off. “Stay away from my future wife!”

That’s right. Finn is convinced that he and Rachel are still going to get married. We don’t care what anybody says: Finchel is meant to be together. Never lose hope!
