We admit it — Joe (Samuel Larsen) and Quinn (Dianna Agron) are surprisingly good together on Glee, especially because previously-homeschooled Joe is super cute as he figures out this whole “liking girls” thing. But, just because we’re digging them together doesn’t mean there aren’t a few other people on the show who might even be more perfect for Quinn. What can we say? We only want the best for our girl!
With that in mind, here are the five characters we think Quinn should consider dating — some of whom are people from her past, and some of whom are fresh meat. Nothing wrong with having options, right?
Can Rory (Damian McGinty) handle Quinn? We’re not sure, but he seems to have some edge to him, seeing that he was willing to get a little devious in an effort to win the hearts of Brittany (Heather Morris) and Sugar (Vanessa Lengies). And in part, we’d like to see Quinn and Rory together just because we’re curious to see just how crazy Sugar would act if someone tries to take her man. Our guess? Pretty freakin’ crazy. (But more than anything else, we just want Rory back on the show! The poor guy has been showing up on Glee about as often as the sun comes out during a chilly Irish winter.)
We wouldn’t have thought that Artie (Kevin McHale) would have a shot at Quinn’s heart until he helped bring out her inner thrill-junkie at the skate park in Season 3, Episode 15: “Big Brother.” We’re still not sure that they’re perfect for each other, but Artie did have a knack for making her smile during the episode, and we all know that making Quinn smile is about as challenging as discovering cold fusion.
We know, we know — it’s about as likely for these two to hook up as it is that ice cream will someday be determined by scientists to be part of a balanced breakfast. (We’re not the only ones who like a scoop of vanilla on our waffles, right?) But we still have to admit that, if these two were to switch teams, they’d be pretty awesome together. Just try to think about their duet on “I Feel Pretty/Unpretty” without getting chills — it can’t be done! (And c’mon — it’s Glee. You never know).
Don’t get us wrong — we love us some Samcedes. (What — are we made of stone?) But that doesn’t mean it’s easy for us to get rid of our blissful Sam-Quinn memories from Season 2 (that is, not until we get our hands on one of those memory-erasing gizmos from Men In Black). These two ex-lovebirds could always be counted on for a too-cute-for-words duet, like Season 2’s “Lucky.” Plus, Sam (Chord Overstreet) is more likable than ever these days, provided he keeps the McConaughey impressions to a minimum.
Can you blame us for wanting to see Quinn back with her baby daddy? The show teased us earlier this season by giving us a slew of scenes featuring these two, but they were back when Quinn was going through her extra-crazy baby-snatching phase, so we couldn’t really enjoy it. Typically, Quinn brings out the best in Puck (Mark Salling), so as much as we enjoy seeing him as the carefree cad, we find Quinn and Puck to be pretty darn adorable together. And then maybe Puck could celebrate getting back together with Quinn by trying a new hairdo? Just sayin’!
