Glee manages to pack an insane number of songs into each episode, which means there will always be a few standouts, along with the inevitable dud or two. We've narrowed the performances from Season 4, Episode 18: “Shooting Star,” down to the very best and the coulda-done-without. Do you agree with our picks?

Best Performance of the Night: “Say” by Blaine and New Directions

Sure, we’re suckers for an inspirational group number to close out an episode, but this song was more than just that. In fact, the vocals particularly Blaine (Darren Criss) and Marley’s (Melissa Benoist) even managed to surpass the original’s (no offense, John Mayer). And of course, ending the song with more video messages made it that much more memorable. Who else needs a hug right now? Just us?

Okay, we love that “More Than Words” is Lord Tubbington’s favorite song, since we can’t imagine it’s the favorite song of very many slumlords. But the silliness of singing this to a cat along with the extra-cheesy nature of this song to begin with was too much for the just-okay vocals and harmonies to overcome. But please don’t send your gang after us, Lord Tubbington.
