Glee Actress to Write Motivational Memoir!

Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch aren’t the only members of the Glee cast to have their own book deals; Jenna Ushkowitz has signed a deal with St. Martin’s Press to pen her first book, entitled Choosing Glee, reports The Hollywood Reporter. The memoir will chronicle her rise to fame, focusing on her motivational approach to everyday life.

Jenna tells THR, "People ask me, 'How did you get here?' Well, I learned how to fight for what I want. I learned to focus and work hard and not give up. I learned that every obstacle is really an opportunity." Jenna’s costar Naya Rivera excitedly chimed in about the news on Twitter: “Congrats to @JennaUshkowitz for her book deal! I know it’s going to be amazing!”

Choosing Glee is tentatively set for a Spring 2013 release. Chris Colfer’s first book, The Land of Stories, is due out July 17, with Little, Brown.
