We’re hopin’ you like all the parent action on Glee this season – because it’s ramping up yet again!
TVLine confirms that Melrose Place alum Thomas Calabro has just signed on for a guest-star turn as the estranged papa to Noah “Puck” Puckerman (Mark Salling)! Calabro – better known to TV fans as the sketch-tastic doctor, Michael Mancini from the primetime soap (as well as its 2009 revamp) – will appear in episode 18 of the current season.
No other details have been confirmed at this point, but we’re guessing (hoping?) that the timing of the announcement coincides with the leak about that high-school dropout 40-something that E! Online said the show was working on casting earlier this week…
Can you picture suave Mr. Calabro as the kinda guy whose life is “in shambles”? Maybe they are going against type…
Calabro joins the family-packed third season, which has already debuted Brian Stokes Mitchell and Jeff Goldbum in the roles of Rachel Berry’s (Lea Michele) fathers, and will introduce Matt Bomer as Blaine’s (Darren Criss) big bro Cooper Anderson in their first all-new episode after mid-season hiatus.
