To go topless on film, or not to go topless — that is the question.

During Season 4, Episode 12: “Naked,” Glee’s beloved Rachel (Lea Michele) came face-to-face with the first big moral decision of her burgeoning musical and acting career. Rachel had the opportunity to star in a NYADA student film, but the part required her to drop her top.

At first, Rachel was totally on board. “My breasts are my prizewinners,” she thought. (Hah. Nice Lea Michele reference, Glee!)

Then  Santana (Naya Rivera) and Quinn (Dianna Agron)  drove all the way from Kentucky and Connecticut, respectively, to try and talk some sense into her. Sure, Rachel might feel good about showing her girls off to the world now, but how would she feel about the decision in two years?

As soon as she realized there would be video evidence of her tatas easily googleable by her future children, Rachel realized that performing topless might not actually be the best plan.

She backed out of the film, kept her clothes on, and decided to get famous the old-fashioned way: through hard work and talent. Do you think Rachel ultimately made the right choice, or were you sort of hoping she would shed her clothes for the camera? And, after all the hype about Rachel going topless, was the ultimate result a bit of a letdown?
