Is it any surprise that The Glee Project’s Ali Stroker is as upbeat as ever, despite losing in this week’s finale to Blake Jenner? We think not!

Ali tells Reality Wanted that she has no regrets about the way things turned out, as she gained “so much experience and confidence.” She knew she was up against fierce competition, saying, “I was never going to be able to be Shanna or Blake.” Still, she was “so, so flattered” by the effusive praise from the judges and Glee cast members following her final performance.

Ali says that one of the best things about the show was having made “so many incredible friendships,” but who does she feel the closest to? That would be fan favorite Dani Shay, whom she instantly connected with during auditions for the show, as they have “so much in common.”

In fact, Ali says they are “working on some things together right now” that she’s excited to share with the world. Does this mean that a Dani and Ali duet is headed our way, much like Dani’s recent duet with Nellie? Sign us up!

Over the course of the season, the judges at times felt that Ali’s sunny outlook was a bit over-the-top, and Ali took that feedback to heart. Ali says she sometimes had to “overcompensate to prove that I was capable” while growing up, and so it’s possible that she now may “push too hard.” However, the show helped her realize that being herself is enough.

Does Ali have any problems with the way she was portrayed on the show? Her only complaint  is that she wishes people had seen more of lighter side and not just her super-driven side. She says that she was often “silly and goofy” on the show, and so she was hoping that would come across.
